How would you talk about the App to encourage people on your campus to sign up? What would you say?
I’d focus more on who I’m talking to and how I approach them rather than giving a long explanation. I’d start with people I already know—friends, teammates, classmates, and group chats—because those are the easiest conversations and there’s already trust. From there, I’d branch out to people in shared environments like the gym, student orgs, or classes where it feels natural to start a quick conversation. My approach would be quick and low-pressure. Something like, “Hey I’m working with this app right now—can you sign up with my link real quick?” Keeping it casual makes people more open to it. I’d also focus on timing—catching people when they’re not busy, like before class starts or when they’re just hanging out. Overall, I’d rely on consistency, normal conversations, and my existing network to get the most sign-ups.

How would you most effectively share your unique link?
I would share my unique link through a mix of social media and direct outreach. On social media, I’d create short, engaging content on platforms like Instagram that clearly show the value of the app and why students should use it. I’d include my link in my bio and consistently direct viewers to it through captions and calls to action. I’d also use direct outreach by sharing the link with friends, classmates, and people on campus. This could be through group chats, word of mouth, or one-on-one conversations where I can explain the benefits more personally. By combining content creation with direct conversations, I can reach a larger audience while also building trust, which helps drive more sign-ups.

Do you have experience collecting sign ups before? (Either for a club, organization, or another GIG) Tell us about it!
Yes, I have experience collecting sign-ups through both online and peer-to-peer outreach. I run an Instagram account in the “make money online” niche where I regularly encourage followers to take action, such as signing up for offers or learning more about opportunities. This has helped me understand how to communicate value clearly and get people interested enough to commit. I’ve also promoted opportunities directly to peers by explaining what they would gain and making the process simple for them. Through this, I’ve learned how to approach people in a natural way, answer questions, and build interest without being pushy. Overall, I’m confident in my ability to connect with people, generate interest, and drive sign-ups both in person and online.
