Interview Questions
SETTE Jewelry
Founder Intern – Jewelry Brand (In Person)

This role includes both creative work and hands-on operational tasks (packing orders, organizing the studio). How do you feel about that mix?
I really enjoy that mix. I find joy in creative work like brainstorming ideas or working on marketing projects, but I also appreciate the hands on side of things. I think it is important to contribute wherever the team needs help. I also think having both types of work keeps the day interesting. It allows me to stay creative while also being productive in a more operational way. I am someone who enjoys being busy and involved, so I would be happy to help with both sides of the role.

How do you stay organized when managing multiple tasks?
When I am managing multiple tasks, I stay organized by prioritizing what needs to be done first and breaking larger projects into smaller, manageable steps. I usually start by writing out everything I need to complete and identifying any deadlines so I can plan my time effectively. I also like to keep a running to do list and update it throughout the day as I complete tasks or as new responsibilities come up. This helps me stay focused and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

When you’re unsure how to do something, what’s your first step?
When I’m unsure how to do something, my first step is to review any resources available to me, such as instructions, examples, or notes, so I can try to understand the task on my own first. I like to make an initial effort because it helps me learn and shows respect for other people’s time. If I am still unsure, I will reach out to a teammate or supervisor with specific questions. I find it helpful to explain what I have already tried and where I am getting stuck so they can guide me more effectively.
