I am currently completing my master's of Management at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2021 with a major in Communication and Media. I love baking, online shopping and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy helping people, working with others and being part of a team. Through past opportunities I have been able to gain experience in social media, event planning and fundraising. I am looking for an opportunity to use what I have learned and hopefully gain more experience.

How would you launch a new app on a college campus?

I would launch a new app on campus with both brand ambassadors and store partnerships. The most important thing is to get your target audience's attention. I think the best way for DateNight to effectively reach its target market (the students on campus) is to use the right brand ambassadors. You should not only look for people who are part of large organizations (clubs, greeklife) as they can bring the app to their following but also try to have ambassadors who may not be part of the main stream orgs on campus as they can still represent the app to others and show that you don't have to be in these groups to have it. I also believe that the app should partner with local places on campus such as bars or restaurants. A flyer or promo for the app can be put in everyone's box of pizza one night. I watched snack pass grow on campus through ambassadors and it was so effective just because of word of mouth. They also had mercy and partnered with stores to appeal to the target audience. I believe snackpass is a good model to follow.
