Personally, I've always been more inclined to apply myself to the sciences and only appreciated art through my friends- from a distance. That is, until I became involved in online communities were just about everyone was an artist. Interacting with them daily, I've come to appreciate just how much work and love goes into every piece of art. It's a passion I now want to emulate. It's obviously a slow process, but I've started to teach myself to draw and I want to look into other artistic pursuits (photography and glass blowing specifically). For now, I enjoy commissioning the artists I know and push their content on to others that I think might enjoy it.
