Have you ever sold something online or in person? Share an example, big or small. Talk about what you learned from that selling experience

Yes, I’ve sold tailored clothing pins and T-shirts to other Greek organizations on campus as part of a fundraising initiative for breast cancer awareness and education. What made the experience successful was that the products were not only well-designed and relevant to Greek life, but they also supported a meaningful cause—100% of the proceeds went to our philanthropy. People were excited to buy because they felt they were contributing to something bigger than themselves. I learned that when your product has both emotional and community value, and you’re clear about its purpose, it naturally attracts more support and engagement.
