A customer left a negative review of Dormify's service on a social media site. How do you respond to the customer?
I would certainly begin by acknowledging the customer’s concerns, making sure they feel heard and thanking them for their feedback. It would be futile and equally damaging to directly refute or challenge their claims, so I would instead seek to give an explanation from our perspective of what could’ve gone wrong and how we might be working on enhancing the customer experience. Depending on the nature of the issue, I could give the customer some extra help by directing them to some kind of contact. Otherwise, I would offer an apology and let them know we are working on the issue!

What's the best thing you've read in the past year?
I recently read Nietzsche’s Beyond Good and Evil while preparing to write the final paper for a class called The Nature of Morality. It was perhaps the most fascinating piece of literature I’ve ever read and truly sparked a passion for philosophy in me. It is a dense yet equally absorbing book that I believe has wide applications on a variety of different fields beyond philosophy alone.

I have been 100% vegan since the beginning of the year, so my food and beverage choices are completely plant-based. I regularly shop for items like tofu, tempeh, chickpeas, and other meatless protein sources, typically from my local Trader Joe’s.
