In-store UGC Content for Target Launch

HORMBLES CHORMBLES Profile Image

What hook / content would you use for your in-store video?

My girlfriend switched out my easter chocolate with protein chocolate and now I'm hooked.

Sousa

Social Media Specialist for Wellness Drink

How do you think about the difference between content that builds a brand vs. content that drives a purchase?

Today consumers are so overstimulated that you have to build a brand to drive a purchase. The protein beverage sector is boring and rigid, Sousa breaks that, it's a clear brand identity, it's fun. People who track their protein intake are often "serious, disciplined people." Put a Sousa in their hand and they're fun. To start: Sousa doesn't need content with a strong CTA. People are burnt out on being asked. It needs content that establishes it's brand and fun nature. Then you slowly mix in more CTA ads after consumers recognize it.

If you had to create one piece of content for Sousa this week, what would it be and why?

I would take existing videos of famous memes/videos/compilations, and use "Hopecore" style audio with random intercut photos of the characters on the box. The characters are random and funny but because of that they're recognizable.
