Flings

Influencer Coordinator

Why do you want to be an influencer coordinator?

I want to be an influencer coordinator because it combines everything I’m passionate about social media, relationship-building, and creative strategy. I’ve been a creator myself for years, so I genuinely love the influencer space and understand how powerful it can be when brands partner with the right people. I enjoy finding creators whose personality and content truly fit a brand, and then building those relationships in a way that feels authentic and exciting for both sides.

I also really like the behind-the-scenes side of influencer marketing of researching talent, analyzing engagement, managing communication, and seeing a campaign come to life. It’s rewarding to know that the work I’m doing directly impacts brand awareness and helps creators do what they love.

Overall, being an influencer coordinator feels like the perfect blend of creativity, strategy, and people skills. It’s a role where I get to use my own creator experience while also contributing to a brand’s growth in a meaningful way.

Describe your experience coordinating with influencers.

I have strong experience coordinating with influencers, both from the creator side and the brand side. I’ve been an influencer myself for 6 years, completing many campaigns with brands like Vaseline, Supergoop, FoxTV, Doritos, and more. Because of that, I really understand how creators prefer to communicate, what makes outreach feel genuine, and what helps build trust. This helps me connect with influencers in a way that makes them more likely to reply and want to work with the brand.

On the brand/agency side, I worked as an Influencer Marketing Intern at Infinity Agency this past summer. I handled influencer research, built lists of top creator fits across different niches, and did outreach for multiple clients. I became very comfortable identifying brand-aligned creators, tracking communication, and keeping everything organized. I also interned for a prominent performing arts center, where I supported influencer outreach and helped secure a collaboration with Snooki. That experience gave me exposure to communicating with higher-profile talent and managing more formal relationship-building.

Overall, I understand the influencer process from both sides, and I’m confident in my ability to find strong creator fits, communicate professionally, and build relationships that lead to great partnerships.

How would you find influencers that align with the Flings brand?

I’d start by looking for creators whose content already fits the Flings vibe people who post high-protein meals, healthy sweet treats, ‘what I eat in a day’ videos, gym snacks, meal preps, etc as it makes the most sense to work with influencers who naturally talk about those things already.I’d search through hashtags like #proteineats, #highproteinsnacks, #whatieatinaday, #healthysnacks, and also use TikTok’s search filters to find creators who are trending, have solid engagement, and actually connect with their audience. Because of my past work with brands like Doritos and Pringles as a content creator and as an influencer marketing intern I’m pretty used to spotting creators who are authentic versus people who are just posting to post.

I focus a lot on engagement rate, video quality, and comment sentiment, not just follower count, because for a brand like Flings you really want people who feel trustworthy and have that strong community vibe. Once I find good fits, I’d put together a list, reach out in a really personalized way, and start building relationships so we can coordinate gifting or future campaigns.
