Create Engaging Content for Babe Original

What social media platforms do you believe are best for promoting wellness and beauty products?
I believe the best platforms for promoting wellness and beauty products are TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, each for different reasons. TikTok is essential for reaching Gen Z with short, authentic, and trend-driven content, consisting of things like GRWMs, routines, and quick product demos perform extremely well there. Instagram is perfect for aesthetic visuals, Reels, brand storytelling, and building a cohesive look that reflects the brand’s identity. YouTube is ideal for long-form content such as in-depth reviews, tutorials, and routine videos that build trust and showcase real results. Together, I think these platforms allow a beauty or wellness brand to reach audiences through both quick, relatable content and more detailed, educational videos, creating a strong and balanced presence

How would you create content that feels authentic and engaging for a beauty brand?
To create content that feels authentic and engaging for a beauty brand, I would focus on capturing real routines, real results, and real reactions. I’d incorporate the products naturally into my everyday life and show this by creating GRWMs, busy-day vlogs, night-out makeup, and skin-prep moments, so that viewers see how the products actually perform instead of feeling like they’re watching an ad. I’d also highlight honest before-and-afters, wear tests, and quick check-ins throughout the day to build trust and show genuine results. Staying true to my personal style and voice is key, so I’d keep the tone conversational and relatable, using trending sounds, aesthetic visuals, and on-campus moments to keep the content fun and watchable. I’d also encourage engagement by sharing tips, answering questions, and showing product comparisons or shade matches. My goal would be to create content that feels like a recommendation from a friend, not a script, because I believe that authenticity is what resonates most with audiences.

Brainstorm how you would help DAISE show up on your campus
To help DAISE show up on my campus, I would combine peer engagement with creative, high-visibility marketing moments that fit naturally into student life. First, I’d incorporate DAISE into content around everyday college routines, such as getting ready for class, so students can see how seamlessly the products fit into real life. I’d also host small pop-up moments or table events in high-traffic areas like the quad or library walkway, offering swatches, product demos, or sample cards so students can interact with the brand firsthand. Collaborating with campus organizations, such as the ones that I am a part of, would also help DAISE reach different student communities. By creating both on-campus touchpoints and online moments, I’d help DAISE build a strong, recognizable presence that students genuinely connect with on my campus.
