How do you approach creating video content that engages a young audience?

viewers can easily tell when something feels forced, so I aim to develop content that reflects genuine experiences and emotions. I start by understanding what topics and formats are currently resonating — whether that’s short-form videos, trends, or storytelling that aligns with their interests. Then I think about pacing, visuals, and sound — keeping it dynamic and attention-grabbing within the first few seconds. I also like to include interactive or shareable elements, such as questions, challenges, or calls to action, because young audiences want to feel part of the conversation rather than just spectators. Lastly, I prioritize diversity and representation, making sure the content reflects real youth voices and perspectives. Overall, my approach is about meeting young people where they are, speaking their language, and creating content that feels both entertaining and meaningful.

Tell us about a time you built or managed an online community — what worked, and what didn’t?

I managed an online community for a creator platform by launching a Facebook group and Discord server. What worked well was engaging members through weekly challenges, creator spotlights, and live Q&As. It helped build trust and kept the community active. Initially, we tried using the same strategy on both platforms, but it didn’t work—Discord needed more real-time interaction. Once we tailored our approach to each platform, engagement significantly improved.
