Can you provide an example of a successful video content campaign you created and the impact it had on audience engagement?
As PR Chair for my university’s Fashion Club, I had to get creative with promoting our annual fashion show. I used Instagram, TikTok, and flyers to spread the word, but the real game-changer was the video content. I took clips from our rehearsals, edited them together, and made fun, eye-catching promos that got people excited. It worked—there was a great turnout, and the energy at the show was amazing!I also handled PR for my sorority for about two years, where a big part of my job was recruitment. I put together a recruitment video that told the story of our sisterhood, using a mix of edited clips to capture real, meaningful moments. The goal was to make girls feel connected before they even walked through the door, and it definitely helped bring in new members. Both experiences showed me how powerful good content can be when it comes to engagement and getting people to show up.

How do you stay up-to-date with social media trends and popular sounds for content creation?
I stay on top of social media trends by constantly scrolling through TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter to see what’s popping. I keep an eye on the “For You” page, trending hashtags, and the sounds that keep showing up. I also follow a mix of influencers, brands, and trend forecasters to catch things early.Besides that, I use TikTok’s Creative Center and Instagram’s Reels Trends to see what’s gaining traction. I don’t just copy trends—I put my own spin on them to make sure my content stands out. Being consistent and having fun with it is key!
