What research methods do you find most effective for manual data collection?
Start with a spreadsheet and make sure my questions are standardized and repeatable regardless of who I interview. With that ofcourse I'd use the same prompts to get answers from my interviewees.
I am also a fan of manually extracting data from source material. Newspapers, archives, any sort of official reports.

How would you identify and approach tattoo artists and influencers for outreach?
I have a bunch of tattoos and first I'm going to reach out to my artists that I know and then I'll reach out to some of the tattoo artists I am friends with online. I'd even be willing to use the app to connect/book my next tattoo. I'm also pretty familiar with my local tattoo scene. Being tatted myself I'm not at all afraid to speak with people about tattooing.
