The summer after my sophomore year (2021) I worked for an art museum (@katonahmuseum) to develop a brand new tiktok account. I research and develop a proposal for the marketing lead and then created all the content. I also promoted the account by employing influencer marketing with local influencers.

The most important thing a social media manager should be doing is staying on top of current trends while trying to predict or create up and coming trends and brainstorming the best ways to adapt them to their own brand

For a physical presence I would utilize a aesthetically interesting photo booth in the middle of campus (such as the photos by Bryant booth) that students can use for free, but can only retrieve photos through the app. Additionally I would focus on their presence on other social media platforms and acknowledging their shortcomings. Poparazzi fufills the need of more casual and playful social media. I would utilize the existing trend of friends claiming they are the "photographer friend" and never have candid photos taken of themselves. Additionally I would utilize the trend of candid photos to encourage downloads.
