Can you share an experience where your editing significantly improved the impact of a piece of content?
Last semester, I took a class in writing fiction. My final assignment was to edit and revise pieces I had written earlier in the class using what I had learned throughout the semester. The revised stories were an improvement that I took pride in.

As a transgender person, I understand how important language can be. Something as simple as word choice can be a signal of safety and inclusiveness. That is why I will be sure to use language in a way that shows my respect for marginalized people.
