Sustainable fashion is on the uprise, however, shopping sustainability can look like seeking sustainable brands or shopping second hand. As a college student who tries their best to live within their means, sustainable shopping for me is in the form of thrifting. Thrifting allows me to shop confidently knowing that I am not contributing to fast fashion, and buying something that otherwise could've been thrown away. Fast fashion is a MAJOR contributor to climate change, so being able to avoid it while simultaneously curating a wardrobe I love is really rewarding.
