There’s something weirdly fun about building the perfect cookie stack late at night. Whether it’s from a quiet store run or delivery showing up way too late, it feels different than eating cookies during the day. You’re not rushing, you’re not sharing, you’re just standing there deciding which one goes first, which one goes last, and pretending it’s not that serious when it kind of is. The kitchen is quiet, the lights are low, and for a few minutes it’s just you and that stack. It’s not really about being hungry—it’s more about enjoying the moment and letting yourself have it.
