My approach is to stay organized, consistent, and relationship-focused so nothing feels transactional or overlooked. I would start by keeping a clear system for tracking creators, whether that’s a simple spreadsheet or a CRM-style tool, where I note key details like content style, past collaborations, deadlines, deliverables, and personal preferences. This helps me tailor communication so it feels relevant rather than generic. In terms of communication, I prioritize responsiveness and clarity. I try to set expectations early, confirm details in writing, and keep check-ins structured but friendly so creators always know where things stand. If multiple campaigns are running at once, I’ll group outreach by priority and timeline so I can manage urgency without losing attention to detail. Most importantly, I focus on building real relationships, not just managing tasks.

How do you stay up to date with TikTok trends and online creator communities?

I stay up to date with TikTok trends and creator communities by treating it like a mix of daily scanning and deeper observation. On a day-to-day level, I actively scroll my For You Page with intention, looking at what new trends are popping up. I also check the Following tab to keep track of creators I trust in fashion, marketing, and digital culture since they tend to spot trends early or put their own spin on them. Outside of TikTok itself, I keep an eye on creator communities on Instagram Reels and Pinterest, and I’ll browse comment sections a lot because that’s usually where you see how a trend is actually landing with people. I also pay attention to how different creators are adapting the same trend, that’s usually where the next wave starts. Overall, I try to stay curious so I can understand not only what’s trending, but why it’s trending and how it’s evolving.

I prioritize my outreach efforts by focusing on the highest-potential leads first. I like to stay organized by segmenting prospects based on factors such as industry, engagement level, etc. From there, I schedule follow-ups and track communication to make sure no lead falls through the cracks.
