what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
As the event planner, I’d use marketing club events as built in launch points instead of treating sampling as a separate thing. I’d weave ColourPop into events that already have strong turnout, like networking nights, guest speaker events, or workshops. For example, I could set up a quick “try before you network” station where attendees sample products, do a simple touch up, and snap a photo before the event starts. I could also build in a short interactive moment, like a live poll on favorite shades or a content challenge where members create a quick post using the product. Because I’m already planning the events, it would feel natural and organized, not forced. It also gives ColourPop exposure to students who are already interested in branding and marketing, which makes the engagement more intentional and effective.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
I would engage my audience by keeping everything authentic and interactive. I’d share ColourPop products in a way that fits naturally into my routine, like quick get ready with me videos, everyday makeup looks, or before and after transformations so people can really see the product in action. I’d also use interactive features like polls, questions, and comments to ask my audience what shades or looks they want to see, which helps them feel involved instead of marketed to. Staying on top of trends, using popular sounds, and adapting them to ColourPop’s fun, playful vibe would keep the content fresh while still feeling genuine and relatable.

what do you love about colourpop?
What I love about ColourPop is how accessible and fun the brand is. It makes high quality makeup feel approachable instead of intimidating, which is especially great for people who like to experiment and express themselves. The products are affordable, trend aware, and still perform really well, so it feels easy to play with new looks without overthinking it. I also love how ColourPop stays connected to its community through social media and constant creativity. The brand doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that shows in the collaborations, shades, and overall vibe. It feels current, inclusive, and genuinely in tune with what its audience wants.
