WHAT FOOD BRAND DO YOU THINK HAS GREAT DESIGN ON IG AND WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT IT?

Driscoll's has a specific post about cocktail recipes using their berries that has a lot of good ideas. While I do think there are some inconsistencies in their design language that I would fix, the important part of this image is that they contrast the flat, stylistic assets with actual images of individual berries where they are used in the recipes, highlighting the product in a generally useful and shareable graphic. They also use different lighting angles between the two to create more contrast and pop for the berries.

What do you think makes an ad creative effective for a beauty brand?

(1) The solution to a problem. The idea that this product may be the last thing a customer needs to try in order to solve ongoing issues in their routine.

(2) Trust. The idea that the customer can feel that using a product on their body is not only safe, but reliable and beneficial.

(3) Social confidence. The idea that the customer is current with their peers, and will be able to present to them flatteringly in public spaces or photos.
