Tattd Profile Image

What do you love about the tattoos or the tattoo industry?

I have a lot of tattoo's and am in the art industry so anything in this related field really stands out to me. I love the artists, their vision, and stories. I feel I could market this well for this crowd.

How would you promote a niche app like Tattd on social media?

To promote Tattd, I’d focus on creating fun, relatable content that shows the app in action—like quick clips of users finding tattoo ideas or before-and-after designs. I’d highlight real stories behind tattoos, collaborate with tattoo artists and micro-influencers, and use trending sounds and hashtags to make it shareable. The goal is to make the app feel creative, personal, and something people want to engage with and show off.

What research methods do you find most effective for manual data collection?

Surveys and Questionnaires – Asking targeted questions directly to your audience can give specific insights. Paper forms, in-person interviews, or digital forms work depending on the context. Observational Research – Watching how people interact with a product, store, or environment can reveal behaviors and preferences that people don’t always articulate. Interviews – One-on-one conversations allow for deeper understanding, letting you ask follow-up questions and clarify responses. Field Notes & Logs – Keeping detailed notes while observing or interacting with participants ensures you capture subtle details that might otherwise be missed. Manual Recording of Metrics – For example, tracking foot traffic, product handling, or social interactions by hand gives real-time, unfiltered data that can be analyzed later.
