Aesthetics wise, I'm loving y'all's feed (especially since IG loves aesthetics)! One thing I would love to do as the SMM would be to really play into sensory marketing. For example, with the Breakfast in Bed scent, I love the waffles in the picture you all posted, but I think it would be even more impactful if a video showing syrup being poured on the waffle, butter melting on the waffle, and berries being cut would really show how delicious the scent is!
Another thing I would love to do is create a stronger sense of community by replying to comments consistently, featuring followers by reposting their ugc content, creating a broadcast channel that serves as a VIP community to share sneak peeks/bts content and ask questions, and sharing instagram polls/quizzes that would ask customers about their favorite scents or have them take a quiz to find out which scent they are!

Which 2 companies do you think are doing a great job engaging their audience?
Rhode is definitely the first that comes to mind! They're an online only beauty brand, but they do such a great job of enticing the viewer through their sensory marketing and I would love to see the same for Happy Wax! This marketing creates that fomo feel for their audience but also makes them also feel like they're part of a tight-knit community once they have the product!
Rare Beauty is also amazing at engaging their audience. As a Latina myself, I feel so personally connected to Selena Gomez's brand because she celebrates our culture. But I also feel like she does a great job of embracing all other types of people, their cultures, and their values. It makes everyone in the community feel like their differences aren't just accepted but celebrated!

How do you stay updated with the latest trends in social media marketing?
1) Research - I make sure to get information from multiple sources like different social media channels, blogs, and even LinkedIn groups and marketing newsletters so I can stay updated on the latest trends!
2) Experience - Through creating for my own personal page and others, I'm always finding ways to apply trends to multiple channels whether it's skincare, fashion, food, wellness, or anything else!
