I utilize my google calendar a lot. Whenever I have an event or deadline, I immediately put it on there. I also create a tasks list for my entire day everyday. Writing down what needs to get done for the day allows me to stay organized and make sure I am not falling behind.

I am a current peer mentor for an organization called optiMize, that helps students create projects that are socially impactful with a chance of winning funding. Recently, there has been an extension that allowed students from a program to have the same resources availiable to them, but in a smaller classroom setting. However, the structure of the workshops were kept the same, which we soon realized wouldn't work out and become efficeint. With a very strong decrease in attendance and engangement, I proposed to the director of the program to change the structure into a classroom setting, really focusing on different topics each week, such as ideation and stakeholder engagement. For the rest of the semester, I worked heavily with the directors of the program to develop a syllabus for the class, and create a 15 week plan. With this, we were able to get an 8% increase in students, and 2 students were able to get funded. With all the work done, its not over, as we are still actively working to refine the program, with goals of increasing students and students that recieve funding.

What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to work at the ground level of a wellness-focused, early-stage brand and contribute to building out retail and eComm systems that drive real growth. As the founder of my own brand, I understand the hustle and care that goes into managing retail relationships, creating operational systems from scratch, and representing your product with intention.This role feels like a perfect match for my curiosity, my entrepreneurial mindset, and my drive to contribute meaningfully to a team that’s growing something special.
