Last year I planned the Towson University Bag A Thon. We paired with a local food bank to prepare ingredients for Thanksgiving meals. We were able to donate 100 meals this year and had lots of extra donations to give to the bank. We had a great turn out of volunteers and got to help struggling families in the community to make sure they were able to celebrate the holiday over a meal. This was a great event for us to connect with the community and understand how fortunate we are!

I am planning on hosting a field day for local elementary students in our community. Parents will be able to register their kids to come and be exposed to different sports by DI athletes. I am little nervous for some of the logistics as the age range is wide, but excited for the turnout!

As a former student-athlete I would enjoy the tailgate leading up the game. We would play games and visit different booths throughout the tailgating area. The school spirit and atmosphere created by the institution always made it more enticing to attend the games.
