Full Time Role: Customer Success Coordinator
Please share an experience where you managed a project from beginning to end.
As a Creative Intern at The Women's Network, I pitched and developed a career workbook series for the organization to publish and distribute amongst its members. The first volume, Hello World, was created as a guide for young collegiate women to navigate the first steps of their careers and
establishing themselves in the professional world. In the workbook's earliest development stages, I oversaw three different committees that each targeted a different facet of the workbook's creation and future launch. Afterwards, I oversaw the project independently and worked on every aspect of the workbook's development and launch including copywriting, design, and marketing strategy, in the hopes of creating an engaging and useful tool for the network. The project was a way for me to not only showcase my skills as a designer but was also an outlet for my desire to bolster community in everything I do. If given the opportunity, I would love to discuss how my leadership skills, creative thinking, and love for community culminate into a superb candidate for this position.
Rowing Blazers
Creative Content Associate
What in your portfolio best speaks to the Rowing Blazer aesthetic and why are you most proud of that work?
I would say the project that I am currently working on is the closest to Rowing Blazer's aesthetic of all my work. It is a career workbook for The Women's Network and like Rowing Blazer's brand it presents a colorful visual identity. I think where the two diverge is Rowing Blazers pairs its colorful palette with this masculine, slightly darker aesthetic that tones down, yet complements those bold shades to create a vibrant and sophisticated brand. It's certainly an aesthetic that I admire. In regard to the second part of the question, the workbook is a project I personally pitched to the network and have been solely working on this summer, from curating the visual elements to choosing and laying out the specific pages. Looking at the product in its entirety now, I'm most proud of my creative direction because it's a product that is not only useful but also visually engaging.
