There is an issue with the register/ringing up a customer credit card and you are working alone. What do you do?
If there is an issue with the processing of the customers payment, I would kindly explain the issue to the costumer as I try to fix the issue myself. If I am unsuccessful, I would call my manager and discuss the issue.

I would be polite and actively listen to what the customer is saying. If appropriate, I would apologize for any inconvenience and try to solve the issue.
