In a group setting, the role that I assume is as a strategist. I tend to look at the situation we are facing as a whole, and then determine how to split the responsibilities between the group. Dividing the work that needs to be accomplished allows the group to handle the tasks in a more efficient manner. Being a strategist allows me to utilize teamwork between individuals in order to benefit the group and out goals overall.
