Please talk about something you've done that demonstrates attention to detail.

Within my Ceramics Lab, I created three main projects and a few side projects. In order to go above and beyond what was expected, I did hours of research about different topics such as religion, mental health, the environment, color schemes, and mythology. I took the main topics and focused in on the meaning of the stories I were following and added the meaning of color to them to create my own narrative and personal experiences that tied me to the ideas. One project I did was on religion where I created a tile triptych representing an angel, a devil, and a human. My experience with religion is I was cast out of my church due to my sexuality and never felt the hand of God until I experienced the Word on my own. So I did a biblically accurate angel called the Seraphim which has wings around a singular eye with eyes down the spines of the wings. I also represented the devil in a humanoid form with the stereotypical horns and deep red skin and used those colors on the angel as well: Gold, black, deep red, and oatmeal. I did the human as a split face to tell my personal story about how I felt as if the devil was more sympathetic than God due to the southern baptist church that I went to casting me out as God casted out satan.
