Brainstorm one way you'd engage with the community and drive traffic and downloads for ActiVote.

To boost ActiVote app downloads and engage young voters for the 2024 election, we'll launch a multi-faceted campaign tapping into social media, campus organizations, and creative on-campus events. A coordinated social media blitz using platforms like Instagram and TikTok, combined with collaborations with campus influencers and organizations, will highlight the app's benefits. We'll organize interactive events like a campus scavenger hunt and voting pledge wall to directly encourage downloads. Additionally, hosting virtual town hall meetings with civic leaders will provide a platform for engagement and discussion, incentivizing participation with app-based interactions and rewards for active involvement. This comprehensive approach aims to meet our goal of securing at least 250 new app users, fostering a politically engaged community.

How would you share Saturn to your campus?

To effectively spread the word about Saturn on my campus and boost user engagement, I plan to adopt a comprehensive strategy that combines digital outreach with on-the-ground efforts to reach a broad spectrum of students. Here's my plan:

1. Launch Social Media Campaigns: I'll leverage popular social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook to create compelling content about Saturn. This will include highlighting app features, sharing testimonials from users, and offering sneak peeks of new features. I'll also collaborate with influential campus social media accounts and clubs to expand our reach.

2. Forge Partnerships with Campus Organizations: I aim to establish partnerships with various campus groups, clubs, and Greek life to introduce Saturn at their events or meetings. This could involve creating app features or benefits exclusively for these groups, which would spark interest and encourage sign-ups.

3. Organize Campus Events and Tabling Sessions: I plan to set up interactive booths in high-traffic areas on campus, such as the student union or library, to demonstrate Saturn live, answer questions, and facilitate on-the-spot sign-ups. Organizing a launch event or workshops on using Saturn for productivity could also attract interest.

4. Implement a Campus-Specific Referral Program: I'll introduce a referral program that rewards students for every new sign-up they generate. Rewards could range from Saturn merchandise to exclusive app features, creating a fun and competitive atmosphere.

5. Solicit Feedback and Encourage Student Involvement: To make students feel part of Saturn's development, I'll encourage them to share feedback and suggestions through focus groups, surveys, or an in-app suggestion feature.

6. Keep the Campus Engaged with Weekly Updates and Challenges: I'll maintain interest in Saturn with weekly updates about new features, user stats, or events. Introducing challenges that encourage app usage and sharing can keep students engaged over time.

7. Gain Visibility in Campus Media: I'll work with campus newspapers, radio stations, and email newsletters to feature Saturn, focusing on its benefits for college life and any unique features tailored for our campus.

By implementing this strategy, I aim to not just introduce Saturn to my campus but make it an integral part of our college experience. My goal is to showcase its value in both academic and social settings, ultimately making Saturn synonymous with campus life.

Share a time that you helped someone over the age of 60 that you're not related to.

One afternoon at the community center, I assisted Ayazhan, a 70-year-old eager to connect with her distant family through her new tablet. Initially overwhelmed by the technology, Ayazhan's determination was clear. We focused on the essentials: powering the device, connecting to Wi-Fi, and making video calls. The breakthrough came when we successfully video called her granddaughter, witnessing a moment of pure joy and connection.

Ayazhan's confidence soared with each lesson, leading her to explore more apps and even join social media. This experience wasn't just about teaching technology; it was about empowering Ayazhan to bridge distances and enrich her relationships. It reminded me of the profound impact patience and support can have in empowering others to navigate new challenges.
