How do you stay updated on social media platform trends and how would you incorporate them into DIG's content?
To stay updated on social media trends, I’m always scrolling through my feeds, checking trending hashtags, and paying attention to what influencers are posting. TikTok’s “For You” page is usually a good spot to spot viral trends, and Twitter is great for breaking news or trending conversations. I also follow social media experts and subscribe to newsletters like Social Media Examiner to keep up with changes. For DIG’s content, I’d take those trends and see how we can make them our own. For example, if a TikTok challenge is blowing up, I might suggest creating a fun, behind-the-scenes video showing our team participating. Or, if a meme is trending, we could put our unique spin on it to keep things light and relatable. The key is to stay authentic to DIG’s voice while jumping on trends that make sense for us. It’s all about keeping things fresh and flexible, so the content stays engaging and true to what we’re about.
