Poundcake has an opportunity to turn makeup launches into real-life, sensory experiences that reflect queer culture and self-expression — making each product feel like a memory, not just a shade. You would be able to do pop ups for certain shade launches for example a brown lipgloss gets launched with a cafe scent and you can host at a cafe but if you want to do a bold lippie(Red) you could go for pop ups that are considering Marilyn Monroe(ish) vibes giving classic old Hollywood. Like Im talking big hair fancy clothes fancy place and even a photoshoot booth but only black and white and install an old camera for videos to take home (somehow). black lip = minimal futuristic vibes im talking 3000s flying cars but a shimmery light pink lip = y2k pop up and IM saying complete y2k!! and just for these examples I could make content based off each thing I said. You could literally make any makeup look to get peoples attention on the lippies.

I’d capture super real finals-week moments — long study sessions, coffee runs, late nights — while actually wearing the makeup. Showing how it holds up through stress, eye-rubbing, and nonstop studying makes the wear test feel natural and proves it lasts. If it survives finals week, it can survive anything.
