Interview Questions
SyllySync
UGC Content Creator for SyllySync
Who is your primary social media Audience?
My primary social media audience is university students — typically Gen Z — who engage most with relatable, fast-paced, trend-driven content. I focus on speaking their language through humour, memes, and culturally relevant moments, while keeping the content authentic and peer-led. The goal is to feel like part of their everyday digital experience rather than a traditional brand voice.

What experience do you have with UGC or social media promotions?
I have hands-on experience using UGC and social media promotions to make brands feel more authentic and relatable, particularly in B2B and consumer-style campaigns. I’ve worked with creators, partners, and internal teams to source real voices and repurpose their content across paid and organic social. I focus on keeping UGC native to the platform — low-polish, story-led, and aligned to trends — rather than overly branded. I also track performance closely, using engagement and conversion data to scale the content that resonates most.

How would you create authentic content to engage college students?
To create authentic content for college students, I’d start by immersing myself in their culture and digital habits — understanding the humour, trends, language, and pressures they relate to on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.I’d create content that feels relatable and unpolished, using trends, memes, and light “brainrot” humour, but grounding it in real student experiences such as deadlines, group projects, social life, and stress — naturally weaving SyllySync into those moments. I’d also lean into student-led content, collaborating with real students or micro-creators so the brand sounds like a peer, not a company. Finally, I’d test and iterate quickly based on engagement to ensure the content stays relevant, natural, and genuinely entertaining rather than promotional.
