How would you launch a new app on a college campus?

Other than the smoothness and function of the app, marketing is the key factor is the success of any project/company. Poor marketing wastes the potential of even the best. On campus, this can be done by spreading the word verbally, handing out flyers or posters, and through social media.

What is a wellness or beauty brand that has great social media presence? What sets them apart?

RARE BEAUTY has an incredible social media presence. I believe what sets them apart is is the message they convey, essentially, the products are advertised to put across the idea that everyone's beauty is "rare." Along with their huge variety of products and large shade range, they've done an incredible job at sending their PR packages to large and small influencers of different races and genders. Their shade name theme being positive feeling, emotions, etc. also adds to the whole rare beauty propaganda they have going on. I think the company exhibits marketing genius.
