Can you give an example of a detailed QA report you have created in the past?

In a recent project, I tested a web-based dashboard before a feature release. I created a report that included a summary of the test scope, environment details, and a list of identified issues categorized by severity. For each bug, I documented the steps to reproduce, expected versus actual behavior, screenshots, and any relevant logs. I also added a section highlighting recurring issues and improvement suggestions, which helped the team not only fix bugs but also improve the overall user experience in the next sprint.

How do you approach identifying and documenting bugs in digital products?

I start by understanding the product’s main user flows and expected behavior, so I can test from a real user’s perspective. I usually combine structured test cases with exploratory testing to catch both functional and usability issues. While testing, I note the exact steps to reproduce the bug, the environment, and any patterns I see. I also prioritize issues based on impact and frequency, so the development team can focus on what affects users the most. My goal is to make my documentation clear and actionable, so bugs can be fixed quickly without back-and-forth.
