Have you ever worked with a beauty brand
I haven’t worked directly with a beauty brand yet, but I have experience creating user-generated style content that focuses on authentic storytelling, product demonstrations, and building trust with viewers. Through my work with Trove and Gizmo AI, I’ve developed skills in scripting engaging hooks, showcasing product value in a relatable way, and optimizing short-form video for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. I’m confident those same principles—clear demonstration, honest reactions, and audience-focused messaging—translate well to beauty content, and I’d be excited to apply that approach to a beauty brand.

What experience do you have creating user-generated video content?
I’ve created user-generated style video content for both Trove and Gizmo AI, focusing on making the content feel natural, relatable, and platform-native rather than overly produced. For Trove, I created short-form videos that highlighted the product experience from a real user perspective—walking through features, demonstrating value in everyday scenarios, and incorporating authentic reactions to build trust with viewers. The goal was to make it feel like a genuine recommendation rather than an ad, using conversational hooks, clear visuals, and strong calls to action tailored for social platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. For Gizmo AI, I developed explainer-style and demo-driven content that showed how the AI tools worked in real time, breaking down complex functionality into simple, engaging clips. I focused on scripting concise narratives, screen recordings, and storytelling that emphasized problem-solving and practical benefits. Across both, I handled ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and optimizing for engagement metrics like watch time and retention, ensuring the content aligned with brand voice while still feeling authentic and creator-led.

How would you engage customers authentically in a retail environment?
I would engage customers authentically in a retail environment by leading with genuine energy and curiosity rather than a scripted sales approach. From the moment they walk in, I’d make eye contact, smile, and offer a warm greeting that invites conversation, like asking what brings them in instead of just saying “let me know if you need help.” I focus on asking thoughtful questions to understand their needs, whether they’re browsing, shopping for something specific, or buying a gift, and I adjust my level of interaction based on their energy. I aim to solve problems rather than push products by offering honest recommendations, sharing personal insights when relevant, and creating a relaxed, comfortable experience. Even if they don’t make a purchase, I make sure they leave feeling welcomed and valued, because authentic engagement is about building trust and making people feel seen, not just making a sale.
