How do Gen Z individuals want to work and think about their career?

I don't believe there is one shared mindset between Gen Z and how they want to work, however, there are definitely trends in what they look for in a career. Although desired fields vary, most Gen Z individuals value flexibility and transparency. Gen Z was raised in a virtual world, further strengthened by the pandemic, so they are used to and prefer flexibility between hybrid and onsite. Additionally, with everything being online, Gen Zers are highly socialized and tend not to appreciate the standard formalities of professional work.
