what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?

I would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus by turning them into fun, interactive experiences that feel like events rather than just product handouts. On campus, I’d set up themed pop-up tables during high-traffic times, like before cheer practice, at sorority houses, or during campus fitness classes, where students can sample products and take part in quick photo challenges for social media. For example, a ‘Taste & Tag’ station where students try a sample, snap a pic, and tag the brand for a chance to win a giveaway. Off campus, I’d partner with local coffee shops or gyms to host ‘Fuel Your Day’ sampling events, where people can grab a sample with their drink or after a workout. I’d also create Instagram-worthy setups with branded backdrops and props so attendees are excited to share their experience online. The goal is to make sampling feel fun, social, and shareable building buzz both in person and digitally.

I would engage my audience to promote ColourPop products by creating vibrant, interactive content that feels fun and relatable. For example, I’d film TikTok GRWM (Get Ready With Me) videos for game days, sorority events, and campus socials using ColourPop palettes and lip products. I’d host ‘Makeup & Mimosas’ sessions with my sorority sisters where we try new ColourPop collections and share our favorite looks on Instagram Stories. To reach more people, I’d organize themed makeup nights—like ‘Holiday Glam with ColourPop’—and encourage attendees to post their looks with a branded hashtag. I’d also run polls like ‘Which ColourPop shade should I wear for the next cheer performance?’ and create fun challenges such as ‘Recreate this ColourPop look in under 5 minutes.’ Collaborating with other student influencers and sharing discount codes during these events would make it exciting and accessible. My goal is to turn ColourPop into a go-to brand for campus beauty trends while creating a community vibe both online and offline.
