How do you approach researching and selecting blog topics that resonate with a target audience?

Market research is so important! I have absolutely loved having the opportunity to learn more about consumer behavior and market research through my classes at Clemson. An example from my current internship that has resulted in successful blog posts is when we researched top performing SEO terms and brainstormed blogs based off of those. It is so important to understand what the consumer wants and create every piece of content with direct purpose and intent.

Can you share an example of a successful copywriting project you've worked on in the past?

I was a marketing intern for the Bridge to Clemson program this past year and ran the Instagram page and newsletter. Captions for the Instagram were very important for promoting engagement and sharing information, check it out: @bridgetoclemson

How do you approach crafting compelling copy that aligns with a brand's tone and voice?

It is important to understand the identity of a brand before writing for them. Does the brand have a fun, goofy presence? Does it have a serious, educational presence? Determining the identity then determines the tone, because it has to match.
