Can you describe a time when you effectively represented a brand at an event?
One of the most meaningful times I represented a brand was as a volunteer coach for Special Olympics Southern California, through Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Basketball. I coordinated my college team’s involvement with the organization, helping lead practices and build relationships with athletes on a low-functioning basketball team. It wasn’t just about showing up—it was about showing care, creating trust, and bringing the values of teamwork, respect, and joy to life. After our season together, I was asked to continue coaching the team as they advanced to compete at the national level. I was then invited back the following year and plan to keep coaching for them in the future. Our presence left such a strong impression that our team is still regularly asked to volunteer. That experience taught me how to represent an organization through consistency, compassion, and enthusiasm—and how to turn a one-time event into a lasting connection.

How would you engage with event attendees to create a positive brand experience?
I’d bring energy, warmth, and approachability to every interaction. As a 6’2” college basketball player, I naturally stand out—but what people always comment on is my presence, my smile, and how comfortable they feel talking to me. I’m highly extroverted and genuinely love connecting with others, whether I’m sparking conversation, answering questions, or sharing what makes a brand meaningful. My background in leadership and public service has taught me how to read a room, adapt quickly, and make sure people walk away feeling seen, heard, and excited to engage further.
