What social media platforms do you think work best for beauty and wellness products?
Definitely TikTok for the casual aspect of engaging people, if influencers use your products they can gain lots of views from TikTok. Since your videos can appear on anyone’s for you page TikTok is the quickest and easiest platform to build an audience and following from. If you are able to reach a larger audience, a proportion of that may be interested and align with your values and products. Instagram is very good to showcase your products and the important information needed, keeping it relevant and insightful. Whereas TikTok can also allow you to engage in trends and informal content to create an engaging atmosphere. Having a mix of trending videos, videos showcasing your products flat out, and then videos showing your products in a subtle way can all attract different audiences, helping direct traffic to your instagram page and website to learn more and shop. Pinterest is good for posting shoots that surround the aesthetics of your brand (health, naturalness, wellness, comfort) which can spread awareness of it to like minded people who may click on to the page and follow but TikTok is definitely the app where you can most easily go viral and reach an international audience quickly.

How would you create content that highlights both natural materials and comfort?
It’s essential to catch audiences eye through aesthetics. Content that appears natural/ real-life is more appealing. Having content that matches your messaging of comfort and natural is crucial in establishing branding consistency. This doesn’t mean to only stick to one thing- it is important to experiment and switch things up!
For the comfort aspect- showcasing lounging and downtime activities/ clothing/ outfits (with fall and winter coming cozy content and showing outfits and activities for a cozy day/ a ‘reset’ day or an ‘after school/work’ constantly circle). Highlight your products as being perfect for when you want to feel most comfortable. Also, highlight the lingerie’s comfort during activities that are deemed as ‘uncomfortable’ to create a contrast and show it can be comfortable. E.g showing them as perfect to be worn under a workout outfit and whilst wearing to yoga, running, tennis (or any relevant national sporting events that are being showed on television at the time to tap into the hype), or weight lifting, Pilates (super trending right now)- activities which are uncomfortable to the body and would be supported by wearing comfortable undergarments. This also ties in to the natural aspect as often fitness and wellness go hand in hand- this target audience is likely to care about their health and so highlighting the comfort is a great selling point but also mentioning the natural materials can be seen as a win, win to this audience.
Content that supports wellness and being clean and healthy can be a selling point. (Showing outfits for Pilates, yoga, the gym, Sunday resets) and your products should be woven naturally into it to avoid boring consumers who tend to swipe in the first few seconds if not engaged.
Its important to reach out to influencers/ niche creators who match your natural vibe (they are in to fitness, clean eating, and using natural products, makeup and clothes) as they can weave it in naturally and tag you in the caption which can create natural engagement- their audience will often be interested in that too.
