Interview Questions

Nuuly

Nuuly Fashion-Forward Content Creator

Nuuly Profile Image

Do you feel stronger creating static posts (single photos or photo carousels), video content, or both? Why?

I’m more comfortable with static photos because I can really choose the perfect angle and moment to show how an outfit looks and feels. I like being able to focus on the details and make sure everything is styled exactly how I want it. That said, I’m also really comfortable with video content. I can move, play with transitions, talk a little, and let my personality come through in a way that feels natural and fun—almost like you’re just hanging out with me rather than watching a super produced post.

How would you create Nuuly content in your everyday college life? Walk us through how you’d style and showcase one Nuuly rental across a full day (ex: class, errands, going out).

I’d approach Nuuly content by showing how one rental actually lives with me throughout a normal college day, not in a super polished way but in a real, wearable one. For example, if I was given a blazer, I’d start the morning styling it for class with a tee and jeans—something easy that still makes me feel put together when I’m rushing across campus. Later, I’d restyle the same piece for errands or studying by changing up the bottoms and accessories, maybe belting it or pairing it with boots so it feels intentional but still low effort. By the time I’m getting ready to go out, I’d keep the blazer on and layer it over a dress or a more fitted look, showing how one rental can adapt to different moments without needing a full outfit change. The goal would be to make it feel like something a real student would actually wear all day, not just something styled for the camera.

ColourPop

Brand Ambassador for ColourPop

ColourPop Profile Image

what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?

I could lead sampling by building ColourPop into spaces where people are already gathering and open to trying something new. On campus, that could look like mini “get ready with me” moments at Association of Black Students events, a ColourPop glam station before a cappella performances, or sampling at brotherhood and service events through Alpha Phi Omega. Off campus, many of these organizations already partner with community groups in St. Louis, so I could bring ColourPop to volunteer days, youth programs, or local showcases, framing it as a fun self-expression moment rather than a traditional promo.
