Please talk about something you've done that demonstrates attention to detail.

During my tenure as a researcher at COSMOS, I stood out as one of the fortunate 20 individuals chosen among a competitive applicant pool of 200. My primary focus was on delving into the intricacies of muscular dystrophies through the application of mRNA sequencing techniques. Immersed in this research, I dedicated myself to unraveling the complexities of muscular dystrophies. This journey culminated in the creation of an exhaustive 10-page paper that comprehensively covered a spectrum of aspects. Within this paper, I meticulously detailed the phenotype, genetics, disease progression, ongoing research endeavors, and the rigorous data analysis methods associated with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophies. This allowed me to not only display my prowess in understanding the subject matter but also my adeptness in translating complex scientific concepts into a clear and concise format. Furthermore, I was privileged to present my findings to an esteemed audience of 200 individuals, comprising both peers and faculty members. This involved not only delivering articulate presentations but also creating detailed posters that visually conveyed the nuances of my research. Through these posters, I aimed to capture the essence of my work and its implications effectively. This presentation process underscored my ability to communicate intricate scientific findings to a diverse audience and underscored my dedication to fostering a deeper understanding of muscular dystrophies. My time at COSMOS was a testament to my commitment to rigorous research, meticulous documentation, and effective communication within the scientific community. This experience solidified my passion for delving into complex biological phenomena and my aspiration to make meaningful contributions to the field of genetic research.
