I prefer Canva as my primary design platform because it is more accessible. I can access this platform on all of my devices with no trouble, whereas more technical platforms, such as Adobe, are only available to me on my computer. As someone who likes to complete work in different environments to stimulate creativity, I'd prefer to be able to design content anywhere I'd like.

As a member of my high school's Virtual Enterprise program, I have completed several graphic design projects to be submitted for competitions. Aside from competitions, I was also responsible for completing smaller scale projects such as presentation graphics and document designs using Canva, and occasionally Adobe. Through my four years of experience in this program, I have developed a well rounded understanding of how to use graphic design applications to create visually compelling content. Since the designs I created were meant to promote the virtual company that our program created and carried out, the work that I completed heavily relates to developing distinct branding and engaging visuals. I believe that both of these are essential to drawing in potential customers and maintaining returning customers.
