how do you balance being proactive with being reactive? Can you give an example of a time when you maintained your focus on planning and execution, even when things were moving quickly around you?
As an Event Staff member at the Carsey-Wolf Center, this was something I had to learn early on. Live event production requires you to be proactive because one never knows what is going to happen. If an issue arises at the last minute, you need to solve it promptly so that the event can proceed. Thus, even when things seemed out of my control and there was chaos, I made sure to maintain my composure and think logically about what my next steps should be. Whether it was a technical issue or a patron issue, I maintained my focus to ensure a smooth event.

How do you approach organizing and scheduling content across multiple social media platforms? What tools or strategies do you use to stay organized and ensure everything is on track?
Though my experience with organizing content is minimal, I would go about doing so with a strategic approach. To organize and schedule content across multiple social media platforms, I would create a detailed content calendar that outlines posting schedules and key dates. I would use tools like Hootsuite and Buffer for scheduling, Trello and Asana for task management, and Google Analytics for performance tracking. My strategy focuses on consistency, content variety, engagement, and flexibility to adapt to real-time trends. This approach ensures that all content is on track and delivers an effective social media presence.

Can you describe a time when you had to manage multiple projects or deadlines at once? How did you prioritize and ensure that everything was completed on time?
As a research assistant, I worked remotely and communicated with my Professor solely through email. This meant I had to be a self-starter and be proactive. Often times, I would get assigned several tasks or projects at once, so I had to manage my time wisely to make sure everything was completed on time. I prioritized every assignment by difficulty, and every time I finished an assignment, I would make sure to track it on Google Sheets and let my professor know immediately. By doing so, I was able to submit quality work and ensure everything was completed on time.
