KNowing the tone and Style expectations in the GIG description, Brainstorm a concept you'd bring to life if you're accepted into this GIG.
I have 2 ideas that will reflect who I am as a creative mind, but also keeping it real:
First-Gen Perspective: “Why Access to Industry Tools Matters”
Core message: You didn’t grow up with creative connections, adobe gave you access to the same tools professionals use, skill closed the gap—not privilege, why learning adobe in school matters, how it prepares you for real expectations, why access is especially important for first-gen students.
Mindset then: One tool at a time, fear of messing up, “am I doing this right?”
Mindset Now: Multiple adobe apps in one project, clean files, systems, intention, designing with confidence.
Power line: “Creative Cloud made me feel like I belonged in this industry.” Or “Knowing Adobe didn’t just prepare me for jobs—it made me feel like I belonged in this industry.” Or “This isn’t just better design. This is what access + time + practice looks like.”
My second idea is:
Senior In College Reflection: “What 4 Years of Adobe Taught Me”
Lessons learned: Confidence comes from repetition, industry tools = industry mindset, your portfolio is proof of your growth, you don’t have to wait to be a “real designer”, growth clips, portfolio work, screenshots of adobe files, designing with ease now.
Message to younger students: Take your ideas seriously, learn the tools early, build as you go, you belong here.
Power line: “If you’re serious about a creative career, start showing up like one.” Or “I came in not knowing the tools. I’m leaving knowing my worth as a designer.”
