Edit Looni's Brand Video

Can you provide an example of a video editing project you worked on that successfully conveyed a brand's message?
When Hero Cosmetics launched their new large-size Invisible Mighty Patch, I created engaging content that highlighted its effectiveness for bigger breakouts while keeping it truly invisible on the skin. Through a mix of GRWM videos, close-up product demos, and event activations, I helped drive excitement and engagement, with my content reaching over 15K views and sparking conversations among students looking for discreet acne solutions!

Edit Looni's Brand Video

How would you approach editing a video to align with a brand's messaging and values?
1. Understand the Brand’s Identity
Research the brand’s tone, aesthetic, and mission to make sure the content reflects its values.
Analyze past content to maintain consistency in visuals, music, and messaging.
Identify key brand elements—colors, fonts, and editing styles—that make the brand recognizable.
2. Storytelling with Purpose
Structure the video with a clear beginning, middle, and end that aligns with the brand’s messaging.
Emphasize the brand’s unique selling points (e.g., sustainability, luxury, inclusivity).
Use on-screen text and captions to highlight key takeaways in a way that feels natural and engaging.
3. Visual & Audio Consistency
Use brand-aligned transitions, filters, and effects to create a cohesive look.
Match the pacing of edits to the energy of the brand—e.g., fast cuts for Gen-Z brands, smooth transitions for luxury brands.
Select music that reflects the brand’s vibe (upbeat and trendy for youth-focused brands, calming for wellness brands)
4. Optimize for Platform & Engagement
Format the video correctly for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
Add captions and subtitles for accessibility and better engagement.
Keep it fast-paced and visually engaging within the first 3 seconds to hook viewers.
5. Iterate & Refine
Test different versions and analyze audience engagement.
Incorporate brand feedback and fine-tune the pacing, messaging, and aesthetics to ensure alignment.
Ensure the final cut reflects both the brand’s goals and audience expectations.
