I worked for a nonprofit organization and was often the youth voice for the company. Sometimes my job was to engage the youth audience, and sometimes it was to engage donors. In this case I was asked to come up with an idea that would get people to donate. As I mentioned, I believe authenticity is the best way to connect with your viewers. I shared my voice and my story about being a first-generation college student and shared my journey that led me to where I am today. It was a short video, but I knew that I needed to highlight how the nonprofit helped me in that journey to showcase the impact the donor's money could make.

The ad ran on all of the company's socials and was very successful in raising money.

-For videos I've posted, the biggest thing I've heard is that the audience loves watching me show my day. (Being a college student studying advertising) That content is always fun for me to film, and I would just naturally include the proper wild products in that.

• I also value being honest. If i'm not having the most glamorous "content-worthy" day, such as just staying at home and running errands, then that within itself is still an opportunity to show how I incorporate the product into my day.

• I will also ensure that I am posting at the peak times for my account, when I will receive the most engagement.

• If a particular sound is going viral, I'll make sure to include it in the video. If it's a popular song, it can be in the background or trending as a hashtag in the caption. I want to make sure my content can reach as many people as possible by paying attention to even the most minute details.
