In my previous internship with Goldman Sachs, I was tasked with justifying my code through a QA report before being able to push to production. I had to quantify the testing that I had done, explaining the methodology and extent to which I tested my application. After creating my first draft, I had to present my report to more senior team members in order to create a final draft. My final draft was then sent to the global head of my team. Upon approval, my code was pushed to prod and is still in functionality today.

The first thing I do is develop a comprehensive understanding of the product that I am testing. What I would do is take each aspect that needs testing and understand what are different expected vs. actual outcomes when testing differently.
