Interview Questions

Social Media & Campus Brand Ambassador

If you had $0 budget and one week, how would you get students talking about Cocomelt on your campus?
If I had a $0 budget and one week, I’d focus on high-energy, peer-driven tactics that feel organic and fun rather than “marketing.”1. Turn students into the campaign (Days 1–2)I’d personally recruit a small group of well-connected students—club leaders, RAs, athletes, creators, and social butterflies—and give them a simple mission: start conversations about Cocomelt without sounding like ads. I’d arm them with a few intriguing talking points like “Have you tried Cocomelt yet?” or “Wait until you hear what Cocomelt is doing on campus.”2. Create curiosity through mystery (Days 2–4)Instead of explaining Cocomelt right away, I’d lean into intrigue:Chalk cryptic but playful messages in high-traffic areas (quads, sidewalks, dorm entrances):“Cocomelt is coming.”“Ask someone about Cocomelt.”“Cocomelt > coffee? 👀”Encourage students to post vague stories on Instagram/TikTok like “Why is everyone talking about Cocomelt??” and tag friends.3. Leverage existing student spaces (Days 3–5)I’d plug into places where conversation already happens:Ask to make quick 30-second shoutouts before club meetings or intramural games.Start casual discussions in dining halls or dorm common areas by asking people if they’ve heard of Cocomelt yet.Post in campus GroupMe/Discord chats with curiosity-based messages instead of explanations.4. Make it socially sharable (Days 5–7)I’d encourage a simple challenge or prompt:“Ask 3 people what they think Cocomelt is and post their guesses.”Wrong answers are funny, low-effort, and highly shareable—perfect for sparking buzz.5. Reveal + reinforceAt the end of the week, I’d clearly reveal what Cocomelt is and how students can engage with it, riding the momentum created by curiosity and peer-to-peer buzz. Why this works:Students trust students. Mystery travels faster than information. And when people feel like they discovered something themselves, they’re far more likely to talk about it.
