Can you describe a successful event you organized in a college setting?
One of the most successful events I organized in a college setting was a product activation with Gorgie, where I helped promote their brand by providing drinks at parties and hosting giveaways at various student events. As a Brand Ambassador, I worked closely with campus organizations, including sororities and fraternities, to integrate Gorgie into their social events. I supplied Gorgie drinks at their parties, which introduced students to the brand in a fun and engaging way. Additionally, I hosted giveaway events at these gatherings, offering exclusive discounts and samples. By leveraging my relationships with student groups like Pi Sigma Epsilon and UCR Asian Based Group, I ensured the events had strong attendance and great engagement. These efforts helped generate 4.23% engagement and brand awareness among a population of 26,000+ students. I also encouraged students to share their experiences on social media, further amplifying the brand's visibility. These activations were highly successful, helping to increase brand awareness and create a positive association with Gorgie among students.

How would you approach building rapport with sorority members?
Building rapport with sorority members starts with understanding their values and needs. In my role as the Director of Student Life Relations for ASUCR, I developed strong relationships with sororities like Delta Gamma, Alpha Chi Omega, and Sigma Omicron Pi, which gives me a solid foundation to connect with their members. I would offer the members free samples and organize a wellness event because I’m genuinely invested in enhancing their experience. By hosting collaborative events like a “Skincare 101” session or product sampling, I would create an educational and engaging atmosphere that ties into their lifestyle. Consistency is key, so I’d follow up regularly to gather feedback and offer support for future initiatives. I would also leverage social media, encouraging members to share their experiences with Dune Suncare, which promotes the brand organically. Through authentic engagement, building on my existing relationships, and offering long-term value, I would foster trust and enthusiasm for Dune Suncare among sorority members.
