3️⃣ Can you describe your experience with natural hair care products, and how do you keep up with the latest trends that are relevant to our customers?

I’m a mixed race girl from the Dominican Republic with a 3b-3c curly hair texture. I started my natural hair journey when I was 11 years old. I had to teach myself how to take care of my curly hair when no one in my family knew how to. I do a lot of research on how to take care of my hair, read a lot of articles, watch a lot videos. Since I started my hair care journey a lot of my friends have joined so I always love hearing the opinion of other curly girls.

2️⃣ How would you handle a situation where a customer in Target, Walmart, or Sally Beauty has a complex question about their curly hair needs, and how our As I Am products can meet them?

As a mixed race girl from the Dominican Republic I understand the struggles of trying to take care of curly hair in a world that doesn’t always teach us to love our hair texture. In cases where a costumer has a complex question is essential to use active listening in order to recommend the right products and give the correct styling advise.
